Salty pancake
Salty pancake
I learned
this recipe from a friend. A way to prepare savory dishes or an
accompaniment to a soup, for lunch or dinner.
Pancakes are like pancakes, except that
the former are thicker and less fluffy; pancakes are also called
"American pancakes".
Many, even
countless, are the ways to vary your dishes, and from "can" we can
make very presentable, nutritious and consistent recipes. The most
important thing is to please our darlings, and to try to present them with
“holy” and balanced meals...
As for this recipe, our pancakes will be
salty and made with fine semolina. If you have leftover cooked chicken
breast, merguez (sausage) or minced meat, or even crumbled fish, this recipe
will be perfect for eating it; let's see the following:
Recipe :
Ingredients :
· 1 glass and ½ (the glass of 165g of
measure) of fine semolina (semolina);
· ½ glass of flour;
· 1 glass of milk;
· 1 egg ;
· 3 tablespoons of oil;
· 200g of cooked and cooled minced meat (or
chicken);
· 1 packet of yeast;
· 1 onion, finely diced;
· Chopped parsley (or thyme);
· Spices: salt, black pepper, red pepper, cumin,
garlic powder;
· 50g of grated cheese.
Preparation:
· In a salad bowl, or in the kneading bowl, mix the
above ingredients, in order, whisking each time;
· Add water if you see that your dough is much too
thick (more than enough);
· Put your non-stick pan on medium heat: the
pancake pan is very practical; for my part, I used round cutters as a
“template”;
·
Cook on
both sides.
These pancakes can be eaten hot or warm, with a
soup and/or a salad, with a cheese and/or mushroom sauce...
If you add peppers cut into small cubes to the
dough, you will have beautiful multicolored "pancakes"… And enjoy
your food.
