Algerian Football Team: African Cups and World Cup Qualifications

The football team of Algeria is the national collective of players that profile the Algeria  in the men's football international confrontations.

Over the course of history, the Algerian football team has known, like any team, failures but also approvals, with different coaches.

Algerian football team: 1990

Qualifications for the World Cup:

Ø 1982: the Algerian football team qualifies for the first time, for the twelfth edition of the World Cup, which was held in Spain, from June 13 to July 11, 1982, with coach Rabah Saâdane .

Rabah  Saâdane: born May 3, 1946 in Batna. A former footballer turned coach, nicknamed "the wise man" by Algerians.

In this period, a match has - so far - remained memorable for the Algerians, whose Algerian national team defeated Germany in the first round. And the list of the eleven winners - for this match - was as follows:

With the coach Djamel Belmadi ( since August 2, 2018 with the Algerian team ): nicknamed - by the Algerians - "  the minister of happiness  " ( وزير السّعادة). Born  March 25, 1976  in  Champigny-sur-Marne  in  France  ; a former  Algerian international footballer , playing in the  midfield , later converted into a coach .
