Recipe: Coffee chocolate mousse
Recipe: Coffee chocolate mousse
I learned this recipe
originally from my mother «Nacéra ».
Chocolate is made from the
mixture, in varying measures, of cocoa mass, cocoa butter and sugar, with - of course - the addition of certain aromas and
flavors.
The "chocolate
mousse" - which goes to its creator Charles FAZI (Switzerland),
servant of Louis XVI - is among the most famous desserts. A
delicious chocolate-based preparation.
To spend pleasant summer
evenings, with family or surrounded by guests and friends, nothing is better
than enjoying a "refreshing" dessert, such as chocolate mousse.
Regarding Muslim families, and
during the month of Ramadan (which is the
month of fasting or " Sawm "), this
kind of dessert is - almost - every this evening, as the mint tea, cakes - or
desserts - with honey, cream of rice (also called Mhalbi ) or even
Flan; So everyone is enjoying themselves, and the adults will refill their
reserve for the following day's fast .
The chocolate mousse can be
garnished with orange zest or certain spices… And so much I like coffee (as
intensely as chocolate), so I prepared my chocolate mousse as follows ...
Recipe:
Ø Ingredients: for 4 individual ramekins
· 100g of chocolate;
· 3 eggs ;
· 10g of butter (or margarine);
· 5 tablespoons of prepared coffee.
Ø Preparation:
1. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate with the
butter and the coffee;
2. Separate the egg whites from the yolks;
3. Off the heat, add the egg yolks to this
mixture; mix well to have a smooth and homogeneous texture;
4. In a bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff;
5. Gently fold these into the chocolate mixture:
coat the top with the bat;
6. Put in individual ramekins;
7. Decorate, if you want, in your own way, or leave
it without additions, it is sure to be eye-catching.
Serve this “delicious” delight chilled (not before two hours of preparation), or even iced… yum yum ... and Enjoy your meal.
